This AMAZING new training programme developed for the real world
teaches you how to take control of your thoughts,
feelings, emotions, doubts and worries. It is able to completely
change the way you think and feel about yourself and challenging
situations - enabling you to live a happier, more successful and
positive life.
This programme generally takes around 6 one-to-one sessions to
complete, although in some cases the programme can be even shorter.

Limiting beliefs and difficulties managing
our thinking
When we are children we are taught to do many things - however
it is rare that we are taught how our personality traits and our
thinking REALLY interact, and how to manage our thinking
really well. Many of us, through no fault of our own, continue
as adults to 'run' old 'software' in our brains... old habits,
old limiting belief systems (e.g. low self esteem), negative belief
systems, a sense of powerlessness, or poor reactions to stress.
Limiting beliefs, an external locus of control and badly
managed thinking later in life can CAUSE ill health,
anxiety symptoms, stress, relationship problems, frustration,
anger issues, phobias, fears and worries, and weight problems.

lies in understanding the CAUSES behind negative or limiting beliefs.
When you can pinpoint where these beliefs come from, it's quite
easy to change them into something working FOR YOU, rather than
against you.
A different approach to helping people
If you are reading this you may be one of the many people I have
seen that has already tried a myriad of other therapies and techniques.
THIS training programme is entirely different
to any other self-help techniques, NLP or CBT available, in that
90% of the success of this technique is in your understanding
of your character traits, thinking styles and personality.
It is no good teaching you any sort of 'positive thinking' or
CBT or NLP techniques UNLESS you understand the component parts
of your personality and how they interact with each other. Otherwise
you are never able to really alter the driving forces behind your
limiting beliefs (you would only be 'coping').

THRIVE is a training programme, not a therapy, normally taking
around 6 sessions to complete. It is REAL world psychology - for
the real world. It is not about someone else doing something for
you or to you but about YOU taking control of your life.
The programme (and some of the wording above) sounds complicated,
but it really isn't. The course book is written in normal, plain
english. All of the sessions are informal - we can go through
everything with many examples until it all sinks in.
Nothing is that complicated or difficult.
In fact, some of it is so easy to change, it really is a shame
that we aren't ALL already doing it.
It is so much more empowering to take control of your own problems,
rather than someone else resolving them for you, and this one-to-one
training with me at my clinic will enable you to do just that.

Final thoughts on the THRIVE programme
-The latest version of this programme is NEW (2012), UNIQUE and written by our director of training Rob Kelly, and delivered by specially trained consultants certified to use the logo.
-Please note that THRIVE used to be called 'Changing Limiting Beliefs' when it was first developed and some people or some ex-clients may still refer to it as that.
-There are only a couple of therapists in the whole of Gloucestershire qualified to deliver this training.
-Remember It is NOT CBT, NLP, counselling, cognitive behaviour therapy, but a totally different and refreshing approach to self-help and personal change.
