Premature
Ejaculation (PE) describes the event of the man 'coming too quickly'
before or during sexual activity, and before he or his partner wants
to. It is the most common sexual problem in men, with up to 40%
suffering from some kind of ejaculation problem .
In many cases premature ejaculation occurs in less than a couple
of minutes of sex and with minimal sexual stimulation.Premature Ejaculation is common
According to one UK survey , at least 1 in 10 British males said that they often or sometimes had problems with an early orgasm. As a general rule, PE is most frequent in younger males and tends to improve with age and experience, as the man learns to gain more control over time.
Definition of Premature Ejaculation
PE is difficult to define accurately because what is 'too quickly' for one person may be quite a long time for another. In general, those suffering from PE tend to ejeculate within 90 seconds or a couple of minutes of sex, and well before they actually want to. At the 2006 Congress of the European Society for Sexual Medicine, an American research paper reported that the average length of lasting time for men with PE was 1.8 minutes.
Like those suffering from Impotence, premature ejaculation has strong links with Social Anxiety and performance related anxiety. Frequent PE can lead to depression, feelings of failure, embarrassment, losing desire for sex, frustration, relationship problems and feelings of inadequacy and lack of confidence.
| Common psychological causes of Premature Ejaculation include: |
|
Hypnosis, hypnotherapy and premature ejeculation
As the cause of many sexual problems are very often psychological in origin, premature ejeculation responds well to hypnotherapy. For confidential, professional help to resolve your PE, just contact me or send me an email to find out more.
| Feedback after treatment
for premature ejaculation
"Hi Richard,My mind is now totally clear of anxious thoughts and issues which I previously had with myself. It's actually a really good feeling to have...my situation has dramatically improoved, and I mean by massive amounts. It (premature ejeculation) basically doesn't ever happen anymore. 4 months ago i'd have never believe such a turnaround was possible, but thanks to you it is now a reality. My symptoms didn't happen for about the last 3 weeks that I saw you...my mind has completely changed as well - all the little things I used to have pop in there that I didn't like have gone, I don't have weird dreams and I remember them now, someting I never used to do until i had therapy. So I now approach it in a totally different way (sex I mean) and I'm far more in control of things than ever before which is great. It's taken a huge weight off my mind in that area. It normally takes me a while to trust people to be non-judgemental and open up to. I didn't have this problem with you at all. Even in the first proper session I found myself telling you things that I have never told anyone before....I knew I could tell you anything... I would like to say a big thanks to you for all that you did with me...I would definately recommend you to other people. Thanks again for all your help." Client email, Cheltenham, January 2008 |
